Sick and self confidence

Today and yesterday I've been pretty down and out with a cold. Simple colds take a lot out of me. They always have.

I did want to share that Laura told me that her bus buddy is very annoying, but you need to take the good with the bad. I love her wisdom.

Laura and I took a 30 minute walk after dinner. It was so special to share that one on one time. She was the best cheerleader - each time there was a huge crack in the sidewalk, she'd cheer, "You can do it!"

A couple walked by and the man referenced Laura as a boy. The woman quickly corrected him. Afterwards, I asked Laura if she wanted to grow her hair longer. She said, "No, I'm happy with it until the fall. I know who I am." What self confidence!

Jason is getting cuter each day. He likes smiling and staring at our ceiling fan. I can't believe he is 10 weeks today.
